Long-Term Projects

Fouladou: Building the Future Through Social Innovation and Professional Excellence

Beyond spiritual transmission, the organization is now embarking on a new phase of development: providing the population, and particularly graduates of the Daaras, with concrete tools to achieve economic and social autonomy. Here are the pillars of our future projects.

1. Vocational Training: From Learning to Employment

The observation is clear: many youth from Quranic education backgrounds lack the technical qualifications needed for sustainable integration into the labor market. To break the cycle of unemployment, we plan to create State-of-the-Art Vocational Training Centers.

These centers will offer practical skills in key sectors:

  • Craftsmanship & Trades: Sewing, metalworking, and plumbing.
  • Food Sovereignty: Horticulture, fish farming, beekeeping, as well as the creation and management of poultry farms.
  • The Goal: To transform every learner into an economic actor capable of starting their own business or meeting the growing needs of local companies.

2. Multilingual Schools: Education Without Borders

In a cross-border region like Fouladou, language proficiency is a key gateway to the world. Our multilingual school project aims to train a polyglot elite capable of succeeding anywhere:

  • French-Arabic-English Stream: For integration into the Francophone space and the international business world.
  • Portuguese-English-Arabic Stream: To facilitate exchanges with our immediate neighbors and the diaspora. This hybrid education reconciles religious values with the demands of global modernity.

3. Health and Well-being: A Commitment to All

Human dignity depends on access to quality care. The organization plans to establish Modern Health Centers. These facilities will be equipped with high-performance technical platforms to meet the medical needs of even the most remote populations, thereby reducing inequalities in access to basic healthcare.

4. Solidarity During Pilgrimage: Support for Persons with Reduced Mobility

True to the spirit of service of Thierno Oumar (RTA), the organization is intensifying its support for pilgrims traveling to the holy sites of Islam (Hajj and Umrah).

  • Mobility for the Needy: A service providing free wheelchairs is already operational (with 2 chairs currently in service).
  • The Ambition: To quickly reach a fleet of 5 chairs in order to apply for official accreditation, ensuring a structured and recognized service to assist elderly or disabled pilgrims in performing their rites.

Conclusion: An Integral Vision of Development

These projects are not isolated initiatives; they form an ecosystem where religious education feeds a strong work ethic, and technical training ensures social stability. By investing in people, the organization is preparing Fouladou to become a model of self-reliant and solidary development.
