The Living Legacy of Thierno Oumar (RTA): A Vision for Spiritual Excellence and Social Solidarity

Rooted in the footsteps of Cheikh Al Jalil—a guide whose life was a hymn to unity and knowledge—our organization is committed to a mission of profound transformation. This is not merely about perpetuating a memory, but about building a future where faith, education, and solidarity form the bedrock of a prosperous community.

1. Revolutionizing Quranic Education: Rigor and Dignity

For Thierno Oumar (RTA), the Quran was the compass for all existence. To honor this vision, we are moving beyond the traditional model to establish a true academy of knowledge:

  • Professionalization of the Teaching Body: The recruitment of qualified masters is accompanied by full coverage (salary, housing, healthcare). By eliminating the financial precariousness of teachers, we guarantee their exclusive dedication to student success.
  • Mobility and Dynamism: A quarterly teacher rotation system allows for the renewal of pedagogical methods and maintains constant intellectual emulation across different partner villages.
  • Infrastructure of Excellence: Our Daaras are not just classrooms. They are integrated complexes, identifiable by our project logo, offering dignified living conditions (modern learning spaces and decent housing) to protect children from mismanagement and street begging.

2. The Community Sanctuary: Preserving the Houses of Allah

The Grand Mosque of Samansata remains the symbol of Thierno Oumar’s (RTA) commitment to the Creator. Our mission is to ensure that every mosque in the Fouladou region once again becomes a place of serenity and exemplary hygiene.

  • Structural Rehabilitation: From painting to roof repairs, we restore the brilliance of religious buildings.
  • Comfort and Dignity for Worshipers: Equipping mosques with quality mats and carpets is complemented by a major investment in sanitary infrastructure. Modern restroom facilities are built to ensure ritual purity and public health.
  • A Coupled Development Model: Moving forward, every Daara establishment is inseparable from a support plan for the local mosque, creating a complete spiritual and educational hub.

3. Fraternity in Action: Solidarity and the Light of the Quran

The guide’s legendary generosity is manifested today through a large-scale social program, particularly during times of high spirituality.

  • The Ramadan of Solidarity: Building on the successful 2024 experience in Samansata, we are increasing community Iftars. These are not just meals, but moments of social cohesion where all community members share the same table.
  • Feeding Body and Soul: Alongside food aid for needy families, we are launching a massive Quran distribution campaign. Providing copies of the Holy Book to targeted mosques spreads “The Light” and facilitates access to sacred knowledge for all.
  • Sustainability: What began as a founder-funded initiative is now a structured institution capable of reaching thousands of beneficiaries across the region and beyond.

Conclusion: A Commitment to Unity

By uniting the education of the mind, the maintenance of places of worship, and the helping hand extended to others, our organization simply extends the spirit of Cheikh Al Jalil. We invite every son and daughter of Fouladou to join this work of piety and social progress.
